Breast Cancer Awareness Month - "On Wednesdays Fridays, we wear pink!"

Throughout October it's time to start channelling your inner Lindsay Lohan. Stop, you don't have to break any laws or party so hard you forget which day of the week it is, you just need to make sure you're wearing pink every Friday.

Pink Friday is a day to get dolled up in the rosy hue and raise awareness of breast cancer. You can do it in the office and encourage everyone to give a donation, or have a pink night in and donate whatever you and the girls would usually spend on a night out.

Dresses

You can't go wrong with a simple shift dress. You can dress it up or down making it the perfect thing to wear to work if you know you'll be heading straight out for drinks come 5pm. We love this one from Topshop and think it would look best with opaque black tights and black accessories.

Skirt

If you're not quite brave enough to wear a dress, then how about a skirt? With a pink skirt you have the option to wear a contrasting shade of pink on top or just go for a simple black sweater. This outfit from Miss Selfridge is gorgeous; an A-line skirt is flattering for any body shape. This ensemble has a touch of Carrie Bradshaw about it.

Jumper

The weather is starting to get cooler and what better way to warm up than with a nice, cosy jumper? This perfectly pink number would be fab with white vest underneath, some skinny jeans and a chunky pair of brown boots. You could smarten it up for the office by wearing it over a white shirt and pair with fitted black trousers.

Coat

A pastel pink coat exudes elegance and is the ideal way to pull your outfit together. This one from River Island would look great with the pink jumper above and a pair of jeans, but could just as easily look super glam with solid black tights and heels.

Make-up

If you want to finish off your wardrobe choices with some dazzling make-up then the obvious choice would be a slick of fuchsia nail varnish. If you want something that makes a bit more impact than just nail varnish, go for a glam lip. We're big fans of this pink lippie from make-up maestros MAC; we reckon it would look amazing with that lovely River Island coat.

Underwear

Finally, what are you going to wear underneath all these beautiful pink outfits? Well, a pink bra we hope! Obviously not something to show off to the office, but the knowledge you're wearing a beautiful matching set of pink undies will put a spring in your step all day.
