Something new for 2015...
With the New Year comes resolutions, a promise to start afresh and a clean page to fill anew.
And while more dieting and less drinking may be top of the agenda, a toe-dip into the unknown can be an exhilarating prospect for the months ahead.
Whether you fancy getting back into the classroom or getting the adrenaline pumping in 2015, we've come up with a few ideas for the New Year, new you'.
How do you say...?
Learning a new language will not only be fun but could also look very good on your CV. Check with your local college or learning centre to find out what languages they offer and then give your new linguistic skills a whirl the next time you're in the country.
Back to school
Was there a subject in school you just couldn't get to grips with? Getting back into the classroom to pick up a GCSE in certain subjects such as maths, science or English could help with your career progression and will leave you feeling pretty pleased with your academic achievements.
After hours
However, evening classes don't have to be about brushing up on your maths or IT skills; you could choose a class to suit a hobby or interest. You can do anything from cake decorating to circus skills - or choose a photography class to learn how to take beautiful photos - just think of your Instagram feed!
Team effort
If getting active's on the agenda but the gym isn't, how about joining a sports team? There has been huge increase in the number of female sports team over the past couple of years - netball, hockey and roller derby are all enjoying a new lease of life. Get online and check out Facebook to find teams near you.
Bucket list
Want to throw yourself out of plane at 1,300ft, bungee jump off a bridge or drive a Lamborghini? If something's been on your bucket list for a while, why not make 2015 the year it finally happens?
